TRACKING & ANALYTICS
Know Which Lead Actions Your Marketing Measures
For US businesses that need clearer conversion data. We review website tags, lead actions and reporting needs, then agree the tracking fixes or analytics setup that support better campaign and landing-page decisions.
What we can include in your scope
Who it’s for
US service businesses with unclear lead counts, inconsistent conversion events or gaps between website activity and campaign reports.
How it works
We separate observable website behavior from account-level checks. Account work requires permission and suitable access. You receive the agreed setup or repair, verification notes and remaining limitations; attribution is not always complete.
What a tracking review looks at
Most reporting problems we see are not about missing tools. They come from tags that count the wrong thing, count it twice, or miss it entirely. We check:
Duplicate or conflicting tags
The same Google Analytics or ad tag installed by a plugin and by Google Tag Manager will count visits and events twice.
Which events are marked as key events
In GA4, key events should be the actions that matter to the business. Marking frequent engagement events as key events makes conversion rates look far higher than your real enquiries.
Form tracking
A click on a submit button is not a successful enquiry. We check whether the event fires on a confirmed submission, and whether failed or spam submissions are counted.
Phone clicks versus calls
A tap on a phone link shows intent; it does not prove that a call connected. We report the two separately.
Double counting across platforms
When Google Ads imports conversions from GA4 and also uses its own tag for the same action, both can be counted. We check which source each platform uses.
What data the tags send
We look at what page URLs and parameters are passed to analytics and ad platforms, for example form details that end up in a URL, so you can decide what should not be shared.
Frequently asked questions
What does the free tracking check include?
A review of what can be observed on your website without account access, written up as a one-page report with up to five evidence-based findings, including at least one thing that is set up correctly. The target turnaround is 48 hours.
Do you need access to our accounts?
Not for the free check. For a deeper review or a repair we ask for read-only or user access to GA4, Google Tag Manager or the ad accounts, and we list exactly what we need first.
What is the $450 tracking repair?
An optional one-time fix for an agreed tracking issue from the report. Scope and required access are agreed in writing before work starts, and you receive verification steps and change notes.
Why do GA4 and Google Ads show different numbers?
They use different attribution models, counting rules and time zones, and ad blockers or consent choices affect each differently. Some difference is normal; a large or growing gap usually points to a setup issue worth checking.
We are a medical practice. Can you make our tracking HIPAA compliant?
We do not provide legal or HIPAA compliance advice. We document what your tags and pixels send and to whom, so you and your compliance advisor can decide what to change.
Do we need to schedule calls?
No. We work in writing: email, shared documents and short recorded walkthroughs, so you can review everything on your own schedule.
Ready to get started?
Eligible US local and service businesses can start with a free initial Tracking Integrity Check. Optional scoped repair is $450; broader analytics, reporting and landing-page work is quoted separately.
